Our Family's Story
A Legacy 40 Years In The Making
Our family’s journey truly embodies the American Dream. In 1976, my father arrived from Iran with little more than a suitcase. By 1980, he began importing and selling Italian music-boxes, captivated by their fine craftsmanship. Soon after, he traded melodies for woodworking tools and opened a small workshop, hand-crafting custom pieces that blended Italian artistry with American spirit.
In 1991, my mother came to the U.S. as a college student. By 1994, she and my father were married. My mother immediately streamlined production production, investing in computers and organizing the office. She ensured our small factory ran like clockwork, while my father traveled abroad to forge new supplier relationships and scout fresh design models.
Over forty years, we have proudly grown into a second-generation, family-owned custom furniture manufacturer. We are known for our traditional and transitional designs, which include chairs, tables, case goods, sofas and more. As a premier custom furniture manufacturer, each piece is made in the USA of high-quality imported materials, ensuring heirloom-quality craftsmanship. Our passion is in creating the last piece of furniture you'll ever need, because we know that furniture is more than a place to sit; it's a stitch in the tapestry of your family. Just as my parents pass down Sigla to their children, we want our custom pieces to be passed down to yours.
Now I am proud to be stepping into my parents’ shoes, ready to carry on our legacy. In 2023, we significantly expanded our offerings by partnering with Tom Juhasz of Unfinished Chairs (your go-to source for raw frames) and JDM Furniture. Tom brings decades of experience working directly with designers and shares our passion for quality furniture at affordable prices.
